Open Position - Research Assistant
The Nano-Optics & Biophysics Laboratory in the Department of Electrophysics at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) is seeking a highly motivated candidate for a full-time Research Assistant position. Our laboratory develops advanced optical microscopy technologies and integrates them with chemical and biological approaches to quantitatively investigate nanoscale structures and dynamics in living cells. We are particularly interested in understanding nanoscale cell biophysics, with a focus on cellular dynamics in living cells. Our overarching goal is to resolve the organization and dynamics of biomolecules at the nanoscale and to elucidate their relationships with cellular functions using label-free approaches.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a background in biophysics, biomedical engineering, life sciences, or a related field. Experience in optical microscopy, biological sample preparation (cell culture), or cell-based experiments is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate independent thinking, and teamwork skills.
Salary
The salary will be provided according to NYCU salary standards. Starting monthly salary is NT$43,965 for Master’s degree holders, and NT$39,180 for Bachelor’s degree holders, subject to adjustment based on education and experience. This position is covered by the Labor Standards Act.
